“Nammo-nammo Aoi-lemon” is a confectionery produced by Rokkatei, a confectionery maker in Hokkaido.
This bite-size madeleine is coated by powdered sugar fondant with ”aoi lemon” (green lemon) peels.
“Nammo-nammo”means “no problem” in Hokkaido dialect . This gentle expression is often used.
This petite cakes are completely different from Rokkatei’s cheese snack, “Nammo-nammo Parmesan“.
The 80g pack is sold at 380 yen.
Despite my expectation, this product was nothing similar to “Nammo-nammo Parmesan”.
At first, the sweetness of the fondant and the flavor of the butter spread inside the mouth.
The fine green lemon peels give a zesty aroma.
The fondant and lemon peel mix make fantastic sweet sour flavor!
This reminded me of the plain bite-size madeleines by Rokkatei, “Menkoi Daiheigen“, but the sourness of the lemon makes a big difference.
You can feel some love from the heart-shaped ones.
This good size and price item is a nice little omiyage.
